Ground Breaking Made Easy!
The Drop Installation Shovel/Wedge is designed to install buried, ground wire, fiber cable, etc., in areas around customer's premises where a trencher is not practical.
This tool causes minimal disturbance to the customer's lawn because it only opens up a narrow slit 7 inches deep. The wire is then dropped into the slit and it may be closed back with your foot without any apparent evidence of the slit.
Designed rugged and strong so it can be used in even the most difficult of soils, from sand to clay to rock.
The Drop Installation Shovel/Wedge also provides you with maximum dielectric protection should you accidentally dig into a buried electric line.
The Drop Installation Shovel/Wedge handle provides you with dielectric protection should you accidentally dig into a buried electric line. U-TECK uses a three-step method of protection to insulate the top of the shovel/wedge from the lower half.
The two parts are separated by an insulator comprised of phenolic tubing, epoxy fill and a cover of heat shrink.
